In August last year, Clare shared her inspiring weight loss journey exclusively with New Idea, and the bubbly blonde revealed that while she sticks to a healthy food plan and does regular exercise, she had to let go of her resentments towards groom Jono in order to complete her incredible transformation.
Telling New Idea Clare admitted: "I had to let it go,
"I was still holding on to resentment that Jono and I were both set up to fail on MAFS and I finally realised that was just a waste of time."
Clare continued: "For a long time I was scared of being vulnerable again.
"I still have a curvy body with rolls, wrinkles and cellulite, but I have totally accepted this and no longer need validation from others. I’m larger now than when I was on the show, but I am more confident than ever."
