Lisa Wilkinson’s shock confession: My year from hell
Ever since their Logies run-in, rumours have been swirling about a feud between Lisa Wilkinson and her new co-host Carrie Bickmore. But it seems that’s just the tip of the iceberg in what Lisa has called her ‘year from hell’.
‘The universe has thrown everything at me the past couple of years,’ she told TV Week.
Not only did the 58-year-old make headlines when she quit Today, but she also lost her mum Beryl in March.
Additionally, she was forced to have emergency surgery on her arm, following a serious fall while on holiday in Italy.
Reflecting on her recent challenges, Lisa admits that it’s hard but says you just have to get on with it.
‘But I’m probably old enough and have faced enough challenges in my life, to take it in my stride as much as I can.’
