“As much as Ten would be outwardly pretending it wasn’t an issue, behind the scenes they would not be happy,” a source told The Daily Telegraph.
“It is not a good look for the show, which somehow gets huge interviews [and] bigger names than the weekday shows,” they added.
But Lisa is remaining calm in the face of the storm saying, “I cannot worry about that,” telling The Daily Telegraph: “I worry about putting the best possible show together every Sunday night.
There are very few programs on Australian TV [that] can say that their numbers are up.”
And it’s not all bad news for the wife of Peter FitzSimons. Lisa is rumoured to doing some filling in for Carrie Bickmore on The Project while she is on maternity leave for a few months. Last week Carrie announced it was her final week on the show with a post on Instagram.
“Last week of work before maternity leave. Gonna miss my gorgeous work families,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself and Fifi Box.
