Lindsay Lohan Lohan speaks out amid The Masked Singer 'dumping' shock
The star is desperate to remain on board amid axing rumours
Lindsay Lohan is desperate to return for the second season of The Masked Singer, amid growing talk that the former Hollywood star will be axed from the show when it comes back next year.
The onetime actress, whose MTV reality show about opening a club in Greece was recently axed, is desperately trying to position herself for a lucrative return on the hit Channel Ten show.

'I plan on doing season two,' Lindsay told the Daily Mail. 'I love the Masked Singer Australia, my fellow judges and [Channel 10].’
This comes as a TV insider this week told New Idea, ‘She is being replaced.’
While Network Ten have said the American actress worked hard to familiarise herself with local talent, execs are said to be worried about the negative publicity she’s getting from not knowing the contestants and her alleged backstage demands have also apparently caused some tension.
‘She was tricky with demands and had a complete lack of respect for time schedules,’ says the source. Instead, a much cheaper local – most likely Kate Ceberano who is The Lion – is tipped to replace her now that the show is successfully established.
That's not the only drama to come from the show either. The big reveals of who is behind the masks have proved a major talking point, with the celebrity revelations shown amid scenes of dramatic clapping and cheering and shocked facial reactions from the studio audience.
But what you are seeing is not what really happened – because it has been confirmed that all audience members are removed from the studio before the celebrities are revealed.
The reaction shots of amazed faces and frenzied excitement have nothing to do with what viewers are seeing on screen, and were filmed at another time.
Host Osher Günsberg confessed to News.com.au that none of the reveals are recorded in front of audiences, despite what viewers of the Channel Ten show are made to believe through editing.

'There were maybe only eight people in the room when it happened. No one who wasn't supposed to be there was there,’ he said. 'In the control room, they basically hit record on the machines and walked out. We didn't even have a photographer!
'Every entrance and exit was guarded by security… we protected it really well and I'm really proud of how we did,' he said.
In further controversy, another source also claims while the four judges appear to get along on-screen, apparently Jackie O isn’t very close to Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, Dannii Minogue and Lindsay Lohan.
According to the insider, the radio star reportedly missed out on crucial bonding time with them because she would go home early, as she’d need to be up for her slot on KIIS FM.
