What is Last King of The Cross about?
The 10-part gritty serialised drama is an operatic story of two brothers, Sam and John Ibrahim, who organise the street but lose each other in their ascent to power.
Inspired by John Ibrahim’s best-selling autobiography of the same name (which you can read here), Last King of The Cross tracks his rise from a poverty-stricken immigrant.
With no education, no money, and no prospects, he forged himself as Australia’s most infamous nightclub mogul in Sydney’s Kings Cross - a mini-Atlantic City.
Who is cast in Last King of The Cross?
Last King of The Cross’ stellar cast is led by Lincoln Younes playing the character of John Ibrahim and Tim Roth playing the lead antagonist Ezra Shipman.
They are joined by Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire, Outlaw King), Tess Haubrich (Spiderhead, Alien: Covenant), Claude Jabbour (Eden, Stateless), and Maria Tran (Truy Sat, Echo 8).
Matt Nable (Transfusion, Riddick, Bikie Wars: Brothers In Arms) and Damian Walshe-Howling (Underbelly, Janet King) also star in the series.
