Victoria Beckham has been in the spotlight the vast majority of her life and during those 30 odd years she has evolved in the most dramatic of fashions. Her style is now set and it’s chic, feminine with just a hint of hedge. Her beauty look is much the same. That is, classic, beautiful with the occasional surprise.
And if you’ve ever wondered how the singer turned designer does it then you’re soon to have your chance. Victoria Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice, is launching her very own YouTube channel where you will get a sneak peek into her private world including her wardrobe and beauty cupboard.
Victoria announced the soon-to-be-launched channel via her own Instagram account and she was clearly very excited to be doing so. With her hands in the air she detailed what would be showcased on the series and don’t look not but she SMILED! This must be a special project for her.
All kidding aside, the woman is a style demon and wears a slouchy pair of pants like nobody else can and we’re very much looking forward to watching her channel and picking up some tips in the fashion department. Same, same for beauty.
Victoria will be working alongside YouTube Beauty and Fashion Director (yes – there is such a thing) Derek Blasberg who appeared alongside her on her Instagram post.
Just like Victoria, he seems dead excited. And why not? Especially when VB announced the platform would be something like this …
“Full of styling tutorials, lots of stuff from me and apparently you naked,” she says when announcing the news.
“Apparently people want it. It’s what they want, what they really really want. And it’s coming to my channel.”
She’s spent more hours in the makeup chair than most and while there Victoria has learned a trick or three. And she’s determined to share them with us. Frankly, we can’t wait. Her eyeliner skills are impressive and her skin is always fresh and dewy. For a woman with four kids she’s doing AMAZINGLY well.
We are genuinely looking forward to discovering how she makes that happen, plus learning a little about her along the way.
Further, while the information will be 100 per cent legitimate, it’s sweet to see that VB is not taking her part in the venture overly seriously. When asked by Blasberg whether she felt she was up to performing live on screen she had only this to say.
“Have you not seen Spice World?” she laughs. “Did you see how bad I am?”.
It’s possible her acting will be below par but her fashion and beauty tips? Well those will be golden.
