We sat down with Erin to talk all things beauty and health…

Q. What’s your skin/beauty routine in the morning? And night?

A. In the morning I’m usually in a rush (just another 5 more minutes sleep hey?? 😛 ) so I keep it pretty simple with a cleanse, and good primer underneath my make up for the day! My favourite primer at the moment is definitely the Endota Spa Perfecting Primer – the all natural ingredients leaves your skin feeling revitalised and your foundation glides on like a dream!! Of a night, I’ve been using my La Prarie Skin Caviar. This stuff may be in the higher price range, but it is worth it’s is weight in gold!!! It’s seriously the most nourishing product on the market

Q. Can’t-live-without products?

A. There is actually nothing worse than getting dressed up for a night out, and then realising you’ve forgotten to shave your legs!!! I feel my most confident when I’ve got my pins feeling silky smooth and moisturised – therefore I’ve fallen in love with Schick’s Hydro Silk Razor. Moisturises legs for up to 2 hours after a shave – it’s brilliant!!

Q. Biggest beauty blunder of all time?

A. Having the incorrect coloured foundation. There is absolutely nothing worse than having the wrong colour, with that noticeable line from your face to your neck showing! I have 3-4 colours that I switch between depending on whether or not I have a faux tan happening!

Q. Tips for looking your finest during a night out?

A. Confidence is sexy, so wear something that you feel fantastic and comfortable in. There’s nothing worse than constantly worrying about your dress riding up (or down!), or whether your red lipstick is stuck on your teeth or chin!! A confident woman who is comfortable and happy with herself on the inside AND the outside is always going to grab attention

Q. Describe your day’s worth of meals.

A. It can be difficult to stick to a specific meal plan- I don’t ever seem to have the same schedule two days in a row!! When possible though, I try to have something basic like Poached Eggs and Avo on Rye for breakfast, Sushi or Salad for lunch, and a Stir fry or Salad with a protein like Chicken of Beef for dinner. I like to snack throughout the day also, so keeping easy snacks in my handbag on me at all times such as Quest Bars (The Choc Chip Cookie Dough one is so good I swear it can’t actually be healthy!) roasted almonds, or grab my favourite Green juice from a fresh juicer.

Q. Exercise regimen – and go!

A. I keep it nice and varied. I grew up as a dancer so I love having a really varied exercise regime to keep my brain occupied! I train twice a week with Benjamin Lucas (PT extraordinary and owner of Flow Athletic) plus 2-3 classes a week, where I mix it up between Yoga, Spin and Strength/Weights workouts.

Q. Any hair tips? Any treatments or masques that really, truly work?

A. My Hairdresser Kevin McKenzie Hair has been using the Revlon Professional products on me for years – their Nutri Colour Creme treatment works an absolutely miracle on my often dry and over-styled hair. If you’re using styling tools daily on your hair I really can’t stress enough how important it is to make sure you are consistently feeding the moisture back into it. I recommend a treatment at least once a week!
