Viewers outraged by morbidly obese woman’s desire to have a baby

Her boyfriend supports her decision, feeds her through a funnel

She weighs 700lbs (317 kilograms) and consumes 8,000 calories, but Monica Riley from Texas has no plans to curb her appetite. In fact, she wants to be so fat she’ll be an immobile object of desire for her ‘feeder’ boyfriend.

Appearing on British daytime television show This Morning with her boyfriend Sid, Monica confirmed reports earlier this week that she wants to become the world’s fattest woman. Supporting his girlfriend’s decision, Sid helps feed Monica 3,500 calorie shakes through a funnel.

But it was the pair’s boast that they intend to have a child, which they planned to raise through hiring a nanny to overcome Monica’s weight-related immobility, that got audiences really angry. Getting straight to the point, This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield asked of their lifestyle: ‘Is it a sexual thing?’

To which Monica replied: ‘Umm, yeah for me it is. I like the rush of it, it is like an eating competition.’

Phillip then pointed out the dangers of Sid feeding his girlfriend so much fast: ‘You are actually killing her aren’t you?’

Sid, however, compared the dangers to driving a car. ‘Every time you get in a car, you could die in car crash. You might as well wrap yourself up in bubble wrap,’ he said.

‘It is more like getting into a car and driving fast with your eyes shut,’ Phillip responded.

Monica and Sid are open about their plans to have a baby together and despite not being able to properly care for a child due to her immobility, the couple claim they could hire help.

The response to Monica and Sid was overwhelmingly negative on Twitter with many viewers expressing their disgust.

‘I feel really sick,’ wrote one viewer on Twitter. ‘Don’t mean to be rude but it’s disgusting.’

Another wrote: ‘She won’t live past 35! Why would anyone do this on purpose while other people are struggling to lose weight.’
