Wondering how the gorgeous Rachael Finch always looks so fabulous? The busy mum of 3-year-old Violet, with another on the way, takes a holistic view to health. And the certified Health Coach (who is also studying to be a personal trainer) is sharing her expertise with us all, with a little help from her husband and former dance partner on Dancing With the Stars, Michael Miziner.
‘It’s a lifestyle switch that I’ve been working on that for a year now with my husband Michael,’ says the former Miss Universe.
Her new BOD (Body of Dance) by Rachael Finch online course takes in dance, meal plans and mindfulness. ‘It’s a lifestyle program, no dance experience or special equipment needed; just a loving, joyful attitude,’ says the effervescent 28-year-old. During the 4-week course Rachael takes you through dance sessions, dance-infused circuit classes, plus stretch and recovery.
Rachael’s philosophy on dining is not about giving up what you love but learning to love it in moderation. All recipes come nutritionist-approved by Jessica Cox. And through mindfulness you’ll learn through meditation to clear your mind of clutter.
‘I think a lot of us have got out of touch with how our body feels on a natural level,’ says Rachael. ‘I dive into a lot about how I found, and how I believe others can find, their real natural self and then work from that – principles to implement every day, some simple, some not so simple.’
Rachael, who is also author of cookbook Happy, Healthy, Strong, wants us all to feel incredible every day. And her secret to feeling great, even when pregnant?
‘You have to take each day as it comes, every day is completely different, some days you don’t feel well, it could be just a hormonal thing or just whether you need to rest that day – the key with what I speak about is listening to your own body,’ says Rachael before running off with Violet to play happily in the park.
