A body-positive model has become everyone’s hero after clapping back at the shamers who stole her photo and captioned it with a cruel message.
Above the adorable picture of Noonie Regardless, in which she grins while wearing a crop top, an unkind commenter wrote “Leave the bralette & crop top wearing to us skinny girls” followed by a picture of a whale and a nauseous smiley.
When she discovered the image, Noonie wasted no time screen grabbing the meme and sharing it to her own page with an empowering caption.
‘No I don’t have the flat stomach to flex in a crop top/bralette but I have a muffin top to do so,’ she writes.
‘I don’t know why people still body shame at this point. It’s quit[e] pointless if you ask me.’
She goes on to say: ‘You don’t have to be skinny to rock a crop top or bralette.’
’As women we have to learn to build each other up instead of trying to break each other down. #stopbodyshaming’
The post has since gone viral, with Noonie’s happy face reassuring all of us that the body you have is perfect already, and you deserve to wear what makes you happy.
