Dumped by Australia’s biggest TV douche, Dave, for being insecure about her body, Married at First Sight’s Jess has taken to Instagram to show off her new slim figure.
Sharing a before and after picture, Jess wrote: ‘So this is first time I’ve ever been able to see how far I’ve come.’
‘The left was 2 years ago where I thought I looked pretty good and the right hand side is about 2 weeks ago.
‘I’ve never been able to see my progression until this popped up on Facebook this morning and I’m pretty proud of myself.’
While Jess has been working hard and eating right, she puts her transformation down to another factor: cutting negative people out of her life.
‘It’s been a lot of work cutting out a lot of c**p and a lot of training but it’s also cutting the negative people out of my life that made the biggest change,’ she wrote.
The romance between Jess and Dave was short-lived, after Dave said she wasn’t his type. Two days later, on their honeymoon, things weren’t getting any better, with Dave leaving Jess to almost drown in a rip during a joint surfing lesson.
Blaming Jess’ ‘insecurities’, Dave said he didn’t see the relationship going anywhere.
