Married at First Sight’s first same sex wedding took place last night, but one half of the couple was already threatening to leave.
Andy and Craig ‘wed’ in beautiful New Zealand ceremony surrounded by their friends, family and Craig’s ex-boyfriend.
News of Craig inviting his ex to the wedding did not sit well with Andy.
‘Craig and I are getting along really well all day. But then he introduced me to one of his guests. And that guest turned out to be his ex-boyfriend,’ Andy said.
‘The fact that he invited that guy to the wedding … That’s really shocking to me. Really shocking to me. They were together for 13 years. And this is our day. I never thought Craig would be so frivolous as to invite one of his exes to the first day of the rest of our lives. I felt really hurt. I felt everything I’d done and said and been a part of today was dead to me.’
‘I’m out. I think it is a dealbreaker. Shut up. F**k off.’
A shocked Craig wasn’t impressed with Andy’s overreaction either.
‘I was just buzzing on Cloud Nine and now I feel like I’m back in the pits of f*****g hell again,’ Craig said.
‘I don’t even want to f*****g look at him it’s completely killed the moment.’
However, Andy soon calmed down and admitted he overreacted and the pair seem to have worked things out before the night was over.
