Married at First Sight’s Zoe Hendrix has gone from a bride to having a baby, and her husband Alex Garner couldn’t be happier.
In a video published on The Married at First Sight Facebook page, Alex said he’s looking forward to being a dad.
Reminiscing on how they met, Alex explained it was ‘a huge risk’ going on the show.
‘I followed it through, I followed my heart and I can’t believe I’m here now with Zoe. She’s pregnant and I couldn’t be happier,’ he said. Zoe jokes, ‘She can’t escape.’
Alex continues saying the expects were spot on when they picked Zoe.
‘I think Zoe’s going to be a great mum and I really look forward to it, I honestly do and I’m so happy that it’s with Zoe.
‘I couldn’t have picked a better person,’ added saying, ‘Not that I picked, the experts did that one.’
Zoe and Alex met on the first season of Married at First Sight. The couple announced they were expecting a child in May.
She took to Instagram yesterday proclaiming Alex is the man of her dreams.
‘L.O.V.E is all you need. Reminiscing on our journey on#marriedatfirstsight season 1 & so excited to watch the couples on season 3 tonight,’ she wrote.
Adding: ‘I can’t believe that over 2 years ago we met on this show as strangers & now we are expecting our first child & building a home.

Zoe has thrown her support behind season three and the first same sex couple to tie the knot.
‘There was once a time where the same arguments and barriers were in place to stop inter racial marriage, she wrote on Instagram. ‘This would mean Alex and I would be seen as “un natural” or “wrong”. This law and view has now changed.
‘I support marriage equality & I hope soon we will look back and wonder why we made it so hard. Let love win.’
