Long, fluttery lashes make everyone’s eyes look beautiful so it’s no surprise we all yearn for them.
Sadly though, not all of us are genetically blessed in this area.
Some of us are stuck with lashes that are short, thin or deadly straight. Heck – some of us (okay, me!) are battling all of those situations. The good news is that these three scenarios can be quickly resolved with the help of one handy little tool – the eyelash curler.

Eyelash curlers are not commonly seen and pretty rarely heard of, which is a shame because frankly they are nothing less than genius.
My feeling is they’re not popular because they appear daunting what with the metal and the springs and so on. But, despite their somewhat intimidating appearance, these clever little gadgets are actually dead easy to use.
All you need to do is place the lash curler on the eye (gently okay!). Open the curler and ensure lashes pop through. Then gently close the curler and squeeze.
This will bend your lashes causing them to curl up and out in the most lovely of fashions.
Makeup guru Bobbi Brown recommends you hold the curler tight for roughly five to 10 seconds for the required effect.
