Matt was a gifted student during his school years. Skipping grade seven, the LEGO lover had already completed high school by the age 17 after which he took a gap year.
The 17-year-old will commence university studies in 2019, taking on a Fine Arts degree majoring in film, screen and new media. In his spare time Matt enjoys writing fiction, short stories and scripts, as well as reading and making models.
Matt is a perfectionist who likes to set himself a theme and build to it from his collection of around 20,000-30,000 bricks. When making something big, Matt’s approach is to freestyle-build basic shapes and designs and then go back and get really specific on detailed elements until they’re perfect.
Lyn's hobbies outside of LEGO include sewing, jewellery making, embroidery and bead work, cooking and growing vegetables.
For Matt and Lyn, the most essential aspect of their builds is to enjoy each other’s company and have a laugh.
