Former two-time reality contestant Lachlan Rofe says he is now too scared for any new relationship after being cleared of assault charges.
Speaking to 7 News, Mr Rofe says he is hoping to repair his reputation.
'Being a man of principle, I wanted to clear my name,' he said
'I’m too scared to even go see women ‘cos I just feel with everything that’s happened, I just feel like I’m a target.
'I’m too nervous.'
Mr Rofe was found guilty of assaulting his ex Casey Williams, but no conviction was recorded.
He immediately appealed the decision, with the magistrate later finding he was wrongfully convicted of assault.
'She got up, walked past me, I put my hands on her jumper lightly and said, ‘Come on Casey, this is silly’,' he said.
'She said, ‘let go’ and I did straight away.'
Mr Rofe says he now feels for those in the public eye accused of wrong doing before charges are laid.
'If you are in the news, your story is splashed across the newspapers, talked about on talkback radio,' entertainment reporter Peter Ford said.
'Mud sticks, that stain is very hard to remove.'
