Savvy mum Madeleine shared her amazing new kitchen on the Kmart Hacks & Decor Facebook page, revealing how she transformed the space from being dated and old-fashioned to modern and fresh using products from Kmart and Bunnings.
Writes Madeleine: ‘It will be a few months before we can re build our kitchen so I gave what we have a makeover! I used the vinyl adhesives from kmart to cover the floor and bench tops 😁 its not perfect but so much better! The vinyl adhesives are only $3 a roll from kmart, a bit of paint from Bunnings and it only cost me $58 to do this.’
Madeliene went on to explain that the makeover took her about six hours to do with her daughters helping, and that she used Bunnings paint on the cupboards and splashback and Kmart vinyl adhesive on the floor, countertops and kick boards.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen Kmart fans use their famous adhesive rolls to makeover their countertops, furniture and fridges - but this is the first time we’ve seen it used on such a grand scale with such whopping results.
The makeover got the big tick of approval from the group’s other members.
‘Amazing transformation!’ wrote one. Said another: ‘Looks amazing, you are so clever!’
Added a third: ‘WOW! 😱What an amazing transformation. You've done a fantastic job.’
Said one more: ‘I’m so trying this on the weekend. Love it so hard!’
