The Voice US coach Kelly Clarkson has lost in the region of 16kg thanks to a strict regime of high-protein foods and raw vegies, plus four workout sessions per week with a personal trainer.
The singer previously said her dramatic weight loss was all down to wardrobe, joking: ‘I literally hired Harry Potter and SPANX, it’s all like a sausage!’
But sources close to the star admit otherwise and say her slimmer frame is down to diet.
‘Kelly has been able to lose weight by following a real simple diet plan. She has cut out a significant amount of sugar from her diet and increased her vegetable intake,’ the insider told HollywoodLife.com.
‘Sugar is one of the worst ingredients in food and drinks as it offers up tonnes of calories and no nutrients whatsoever.
