They hold the title for being the most memorable contestants ever during their quest for love – and now it appears that three Bachelor favourites might be given a second chance at romance.
It’s been rumoured that Keira Maguire, Sam Johnston and Courtney Dober have been invited to top-secret meetings with the US bosses of the hit reality dating series Bachelor In Paradise.
The spin-off show, which takes former US Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants to Mexico in the hope of finally finding their perfect match, have reportedly asked the Aussie trio to audition for the ‘once in a lifetime’ television opportunity.
‘They are giddy with excitement about the rumours,’ says our well-placed TV insider.
‘They have openly talked about wanting fame, and this could be their biggest break yet. And if they really fall for someone, that’s an added bonus.’
It’s believed the show’s US producers, who have a reputation for shocking viewers with controversial plots, decided that introducing Aussies would be the perfect twist.
‘No-one would have seen this coming and none of the US contestants will know who they are or what they were like on the show in Australia,’ says a source.
‘They are fresh blood and if they make it onto the show, it’s going to be massive.’
Firecracker Keira is sure to be full of ideas of how to impress the executives, given her history of creating drama on both The Bachelor and I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
‘There’s no doubt she will be a main player on the show if she makes it on,’ says the source.
