"Kate's been taking on new responsibilities little by little over the past few years, so it won't be a hock when the time comes," royal expert Rebecca Long tell the publication.
"William and Kate are the favourite royals to take the crown in many generations, so the people of the UK are very excited about it."
Kate has also been spending time bonding with her husband's grandmother, who is now 92.
"Kate and the Queen have always had a special bond, but they developed a deeper friendship after she and William moved to Kensington Palace."
According to the publication the Queen 'has really taken Kate under her wing. The two of them will often spend hours discussing royal life and the future of the monarchy."
