According to a 2015 Daily Telegraph report, Kate Middleton began fearing for her baby girl telling William she might be "cold".
According to Express.co.uk, the footage then shows William reassuring his wife saying, “No, she’s fine, she’s good” before a clearly agitated Kate bluntly replies: “Let’s take her inside.”
Standing on the steps of the hospital following the birth of their child is a tradition for the future King or Queen, but that doesn't make the experience any less strange.
In a 2013 interview, heir to the throne and father of three Prince William told CNN that he was in "shock" when he stood on the steps of Lindo Wing with Prince George.
"I think more shock was the feeling I felt, but I was on such a high anyway, and so was Catherine, about George that really we were happy to show him off to whoever wanted to see him.
"As any new parent knows, you're only too happy to show off your new child and, you know, proclaim that he is the best looking or the best everything.
"It's nice that people want to see George."
