"I have watched the show [Strictly] a couple of times. Catherine is a huge fan and my mother-in-law loves it," the Duke of Cambridge said.
Prince William enjoyed his night out for Centrepoint, greeting popstar Rita Ora with a kiss at a charity event in London.
William, in a green velvet jacket, black bow tie and trousers, was complimented on his outfit by the 'I Will Never Let You Down' singer.
“I love your suit” she gushed.
“Well, you’ve got to get it out occasionally!” he said.
The Duke has been Centrepoint's Patron since 2005.
The homeless charity has always been close to the Prince's heart, and as children, William and his brother Prince Harry made private visits to Centrepoint services with their mother, the late Diana Princess of Wales, who herself was Centrepoint’s Patron.
Ellie Goulding and her husband Caspar Jopling showed their support, while Lady Kitty Spencer was also in attendance at the star-studded event.
