The event was in aid of a cause close to William and Kate's hearts - mental health. At the event they received an update on the scale and impact of Shout, as well as meeting with volunteers, mental health campaigners, staff members, and supporters.
Kate looked particularly confident after it was reported this weekend that she is the Queen Elizabeth's favourite.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, the royal insider explained the Queen admired Kate's "unflappable" nature.
"[The Duchess of Cambridge's] mantra is very like the Queen’s 'keep calm and carry on' approach in life, and she has the added benefit of making the royal family seem almost normal and in touch," they told the publication.
This was particularly evident during the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in London.
Kate and the Queen stood together on the same balcony throughout the ceremony, and could be seen talking quietly together at various points during proceedings.
