The Sussex's have been outranked by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in a who’s who of the most “socially significant” people.
Society bible Tatler is publishing its debut Social Power Index, and it would seem that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been outranked by not just Will and Kate, but also by the youngest of the Beckham clan, seven-year-old Harper.
WATCH! The reason the palace hasn't addressed continuous feud rumours!
Unsurprisingly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge take first place with Tatler describing an invitation to their home as the “ultimate social trophy”.
More surprising however is that actor Idris Elba and wife Sabrina Dhowre have come in second.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are outside the top 10, which is not numbered, but they are “crowned the king and queen of global glamour”.
Those who make the top 10 include ex-England footballer Jamie Redknapp, BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards and her footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who “embody modern glamour and success”, and the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
Better luck next year, Meg and Harry!
