Kate Middleton proved that she is every inch a princess as she stepped out for a gala event at the National Portrait Gallery in London on March. 12.
The Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a recycled floor length Alexander McQueen gown that she previously wore to the 2017 BAFTA Awards.
But what really had royal fans talking were the alterations she had made to the dress.
The mum-of-three changed the sleeves on the gown taking it from an off-the-shoulder look to a subtler short sleeved dress.
Of course, we love both versions!

The Duchess was joined at the gala by Princess Beatrice, who made her red carpet debut with boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, David and Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss – just to name a few.
Kate mingled with guests and even revealed a sweet tidbit about Prince George to National Portrait Gallery youth member, Savanna Achampong.
“She said she was thinking of bringing George here,” she revealed.

“She said that maybe she could speak to us so we could recommend what paintings they should come and see.
“She was really genuine and down to earth, really nice.”
