Making an appearance at the opening of the annual School Leaders forum in London, the glowing duchess admitted the heart wrenching moment all mothers can relate to.
The 35-year-old was one of the key speakers at the Place-To-Be event, and spoke of her struggles when it comes to leaving her first born at school.
'As a mother just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates, it is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child,' the royal told the audience.
'Whether we are school leaders, teachers, support staff or parents – we’re all in this together. We are all working to give children the emotional strength they need to face their futures and thrive,' the royal explained.
Speaking to the crowd, the mum added: 'Collaborating with experts like yourselves, we’re looking at providing easy access to information and practical tools to support teachers, parents and children feel comfortable talking about their mental health.'
Kate's worry for her son could also stem from the various security breaches that have happened at the British private school.
First a royal fan tried to break into Thomas Battersea School to catch a glimpse of the young prince, and secondly an ISIS threat was sent to the royals claiming they were going to attack the four-year-old while he was attending classes.
