She recently relocated her entire family to Europe to start a new life in Bologna, Italy, but committed Kate Langbroek has continued her co-hosting role on the Hughesy and Kate show nonetheless.
And true to form, the presenter shocked her co-host Dave Hughes by surprising him at their Melbourne HitFM studio as part of an epic prank.
Kate, 53, planned the surprise with meticulous precision, returning to Australia over the weekend and arranging a room inside the radio station to look exactly like her studio in Italy.

Fans couldn't get enough of the thoughtful joke and were delighted by Dave's thrilled reaction, with one Instagram user writing: "Amazing show tonight! You sounded so happy and excited to be together again."
Another agreed, saying: "It was so cool to watch. What an awesome surprise! Enjoy your time together."
Other's said the video footage brought a tear to their eye while some called Dave's face "priceless".
Kate and her husband Peter upped sticks to live in Bologna in January along with their four children Lewis, 15, Sunday, 14, Artie, 12 and Jan, nine.
The hardworking mum recently bagged a spread with her family in Stellar Magazine, where she opened up about her decision to give la dolce vita a try.
Kate revealed it was her eldest son Lewis' childhood brush with leukemia which prompted her to take stock and caused her to "feel differently" about life.
She admitted the language barrier can be a stumbling block at times, but said the whole family are enjoying their new life in the historically, architecturally and gastronomically rich city of Bologna.
