The former couple put an $800,000 deposit on the 650sqm Sydney harbour-front plot with plans to renovate the property into a ‘dream home’ for their family. But, just months later, Karl and Cass announced their official separation.
Former ABC journalist Cass moved into the property – which is said to be in her name – with the couple’s three children in 2017 and was responsible for the mansion’s incredible transformation. At this time, Karl had already struck up a relationship with his now-wife, Jasmine Yarbrough, 34.
Real estate agents were recently spotted inspecting the property and preparing it for market, according to The Daily Telegraph.
It is understood that Karl and Cass will split the profits on the multi-million-dollar property, which boasts two kitchens, four bathrooms, a swimming pool, steam room and wine cellar.
