During an interview with MAFS couple Charlene and Patrick on Tuesday, Karl explained that Dean had been asked to appear on the breakfast show again, but was refusing to.
'We have repeatedly asked Dean to come on the show and the invitation stands,' the host said. When Georgie Gardner asked 'Has he turned us down?', Karl explained that he 'turned me down'.
He continued, 'He won’t come on the show. I'm not going to say too much, but the guy is soft if he doesn’t want to come on the show and answer.'
'Dean, come and have a chat to me if you are watching,' George offered.
'Karl then put the challenge out to Dean. "Just come on the show and explain yourself,' he said. 'At the moment, it’s just weak.'
When Dean first appeared on Today, Karl called the MAFS groom out for his 'sexist' comments.
Referring to comments made by Dean about TV wife Tracey Jewell's looks, Karl said: 'Which I guess is old-school language, at best, and sexist at worst. And offensive.'
