Kanye’s brother reveals disturbing details about rapper’s mental health
Kanye West’s brother Hal Carmichael has spoken out about his ill sibling.
Speaking to The Sun right before the rapper was released from hospital after being admitted for exhaustion one week ago, he admits Kanye’s road to recovery is far from over.
'No one thought Paris [the robbery] would happen in a million years and now he’s seen it happen to Kim, it’s traumatising,' he said. 'Ye is tired, he’s hurt, he feels betrayed and he's probably feeling depressed. It's like, who can he trust? You can't trust anyone, even the people you’ve been paying to protect you. They haven’t been doing their jobs correctly.'
Hal did not stop there, adding further insight into Kanye’s wellbeing.
'I think Kanye got to a point when he was fearing for his life and for his family’s safety because of what went down in Paris — I think it took a toll on him.'
Kanye was taken to hospital on November 21 after emergency services were called to his personal trainer's home.
TMZ confirmed earlier today that the rapper had returned home to his wife Kim Kardashian and their children North and Saint.
