Kylie’s ‘opportunist’ ex slammed online
It was revealed earlier this week that Joshua Sasse had abandoned his much publicised 'Say 'I Do' Down Under' marriage equality campaign following his split from Kylie Minogue.
And now the 29-year-old Brit actor has been slammed online by former fans who are labeling him as an ‘opportunist’ who only backed the cause to raise his profile.
'Opportunist much' came the rhetorical question from one angered follower.
'Go find another cause to exploit. The gays don't need or want the support of someone like you,’ another wrote.
'Say I do down under? What a joke; and yes I do mean you,' and 'pretty on the outside only fella' stated others.
At November's ARIA Awards, Josh memorably took to the stage with Kylie to protest for equal rights, with the couple both wearing the campaign's T-shirts.
And Josh had also declared that he would not wed 48-year-old Kylie until Australian laws had been changed.
In October, he told Sunrise: 'I wanted to tell you today on her (Kylie) behalf and our behalf that until this law has passed in Australia, we will not be getting married.'
