Jess sings of the emotional turmoil of a relationship, something many of her fans will connect with.
With tears streaming down her face, she reaches the crushing chorus: "I make big things out of little things/And I watch, you keep missing them. You don't get why it's killing me/every time you mess this up."
Speaking of the emotionally charged track, which features on her new album, 'Hilda', Jess revealed the deeply personal meaning behind the song.
"'Little Things' is such a personal song to me as it's about my family — my mother and my grandmother Hilda," the Darwin native said in a post to her Instagram.
"It is my most emotional song that I've ever shared, and I'm so thankful to see how many of you are already embracing it."
Jess rose to fame in 2006 on the fourth season of Australian Idol, as the runner-up to season winner Damien Leith.
This new track shows a different side to Jess - and we love it!
Her new album 'Hilda' featuring 'Little Things' is available to pre-order now.
