The actress, appeared on UK show This Morning and told the hosts she 'never' gets tired of saying the famous ‘oh my god’ catchphrase.
'It was just this progression, how Janice evolved and how the writers created the character for me,' Wheeler, 55, said.
And then of course there is Janice’s cackle. 'So the laugh happened organically in the first rehearsal,' she said.
'Matthew Perry is so funny and working with him I knew right away this guy is going to make me laugh on set,' Wheeler explained. 'I created Janice’s laugh just a safety measure for when Matthew made me laugh.'
And so a Friends star who was originally meant for a single episode was born.
'It started out as a one shot deal, come in do one episode, and out of that came ten years of this extraordinary joyful experience.'
