Justin Morgan is a fictional character from Australia’s hit television soap, Home and Away.
The role is played by actor James Stewart and has been part of the series since June 2016 when Justin was introduced alongside his three siblings Tori Morgan, Brody Morgan and Mason Morgan.
The Morgan family are often compared to the show’s popular Braxton brothers.
Justin’s character is intended to represent the typical Aussie bloke, an aggressive and impulsive individual who acts as head of the family.
He is fiercely protective of his siblings, and it quickly transpires that Justin and his family are living in witness protection following the gruesome murder of his parents by a violent drugs syndicate.
Justin’s character is later shot and stabbed by corrupt police offer Ranae Turner, while the rest of the family are involved in a number of dramatic incidents including being held hostage, physically threatened and even a plane crash.
Over the course of the programme as more of his background is revealed, Justin is reunited with his daughter Ava Gilbert (played by Grace Thomas).
He also embarks on a romantic relationship with Phoebe Nicholson (played by Isabella Giovinazzo) with the pair eventually becoming engaged. When Giovinazzo decides to leave the cast of Home and Away, her character is written out of the plot when she leaves to pursue a music career in the US and the on-screen couple break up.
After the end of his relationship with Phoebe, Justin develops an on-again off-again romance with Scarlett Snow (played by Tania Nolan).
Most recently, he has been involved with Willow Harris (played by Sarah Roberts) and is coming to terms with daughter Ava’s kidnapping.
Justin’s character was deemed "the Morgan trouble magnet" by Soaplife.
The Home and Away character shares his name with former Australian rugby star Justin Morgan, who currently works as an assistant coach for the New Zealand warriors.
