There are so many reasons working on House Husbands is the perfect job for Hugh Sheridan.
Not only does the former Packed To The Rafters favourite get to show off his musical skills as primary school teacher Nick Gazecki, his new role means that he also gets to work with kids every day!
‘I’m such a kid person,’ the frontman of band California Crooners Club tells New Idea.
‘I’ve done Play School and I’ve got heaps of nieces and nephews. My little brother was born when I was nine and I’m still obsessed with him and he’s like 21!’
The 31-year-old admits he ‘can’t wait to be a dad’ one day – especially since his nephew Valentino and niece Bowie were born.
‘I think about it a lot and it really plays on my mind,’ he confesses. ‘I love working with kids, I think they’re great – and they’re really funny!’
However, Hugh says there are some goals he wants to achieve before settling down to start a family of his own.
‘I will wait because I know that it’s not necessarily something [to do] until you have plenty of money and are settled down,’ he explains.
