House Rules: What Sean & Ella say before Troy & Bec storm out the studio
Fake plants and even faker faux-brick wallpaper proved a disaster for controversial House Rules couple Troy and Bec - with the fallout from judgement day apparently causing the couple to storm off set tonight.
Entering the night full of confidence about their work, Troy boasted, 'We produced a cracker of a bonus room. If anything, we feel good about it.'
But the duo were instead left incensed by Sean and Ella's judgements, after a less-than-stellar review by the House Rules judges last night.
Troy didn't see the slating coming, telling Bec that 'We hit the head on the nail [sic] with everything we did,' and claiming 'our styling was phenomenal'.
But that wasn't Ella's assessment, with the unhappy home owner complaining to her other half that 'I just don't know about the styling, I don't think it's us.'
Griped Sean of Troy and Bec's pride and joy: 'I'm not the biggest fan of fake brick wallpaper.'
Troy didn't see anything wrong with the cascading fake plants he'd chosen as a mounted wall feature, enthusing, 'You wouldn't even think it was fake anyway.'
But Ella wasn't thrilled with the end result, complaining that a lot of the stylings were 'mismatched' and said the final outcome 'didn't come together to hit those house rules.'
Troy and Bec look absolutely incensed in the preview for tonight's episode, with the western Sydney street maintenance worker uttering, 'Are they for real?' before storming off, apparently telling TV crew to 'shove it where the sun don't shine.'
