House Rules is here! With the first and biggest whole house renovation kicking off tonight at Pete and Courtney’s enormous 1980s brick-built mansion on Melbourne’s outskirts.
The cheeky couple admit they rate their chances of winning this season, as they reveal they have a "secret advantage".
The married dance teachers are “a little bit extra” when they run through their five over-the-top House Rules.
But the couple reveal in a chat with New Idea that they are coming into this with quite an advantage.
“I think with our creative industries background, we manage a lot of things at once and if we work in a production we are doing lights, sound and 250 kids costumes,” Pete, 32, told New Idea.
“So, I think the skill we have been able to take from that world is multi-tasking and prioritising and use that to our advantage,” he said.
And the pair are old pros at the renovation game, admitting this isn’t the first time they’ve put their DIY skills to use.
“We had a little three-bedroom place that we renovated,” Courtney, 31, tells New Idea.
Adding: “Once we did that we were like we can do this. We love renovating!”
