‘We hid it behind his back for six months,’ Dave spills.
Thankfully, all things worked out well and his friend ‘came good’ and ended up being best man at their wedding.
‘We’ve known each other since I was 13 and got together when I was 17,’ Mel says.
‘She couldn’t resist me,’ Dave laughs, before admitting the pair were best friends before they started dating.
‘I think that’s why we get along so well.’
