House Rules: Disaster strikes for Mel and Dave
The final House Rules backyard battle continues tonight on Channel Seven, and disaster has hit competitive couple Mel and Dave.
While attempting to complete Kim and Michelle's backyard, a gust of wind caused the couple's glass panelling for the pool to fall over the edge.
Thankfully, no one was hurt - but the couple were left with no pool fencing.
Dave tells the camera, 'If we can't find a solution to this glass problem - that's it, we'll be going home.'
Later, telling wife Mel they have 'no more panels left', the couple are left scrambling to find a solution.
'We have a massive gaping hole in the pool area,' Dave tells Mel. 'We can't reveal it like this, because it's not compliant with any regulations because it's got to be fenced.'
'If we can't find a solution to this glass problem - that's it, we'll be going home,' Dave reiterates.
