Baking soda removes splinters and soothes
Mix baking soda with a bit of water to create a paste. Put on the skin where the splinter is and it will swell the skin and make it easier for you to push splinter out. If you have a itchy rash rub the paste over it and let it dry before wiping off. It is cool and soothing.
Banana peel helps with warts
Do you or your kids have warts? Grab some banana peel and cut into size you need and wrap around the wart with either a bandage or Band-Aid to secure it in place and sleep with it. Warts should disappear in about 2 weeks; if not go see a specialist. You can store banana peels in the fridge in glad wrap.
Cayenne pepper stops bleeding
We know you may think we are crazy suggesting you put hot cayenne pepper on a wound but it really works. The pepper equalises the blood pressure and allows cuts to clot.
Eat olives if you suffer from motion sickness

Warm some coconut oil up in a saucepan until its luke warm before using an eyedropper to drop into an affected ear. Coconut oil has antibacterial properties and a host of other benefits.
Earl grey tea helps with sunburn
Firstly, we do not condone getting sun burnt. We live in Australia and we preach the slip, slip slap and hat motto. But if you do unfortunately get sunburn you will need to soak some about three tea bags in hot water, let it cool before dipping a towel in and dabbing on skin. Note, use a towel you don't mind getting stained and make sure you leave the tea on your skin and wait for it to soak in.
