“I’m the new doctor head of ED who is taking over for Tori who is Penny McNamee’s character who is off on maternity leave,” she gushed excitedly.
“[I was] thrown in the deep end from the very beginning. But that’s good it’s a challenge and I’m loving it.”
While she has been loving her new gig, Zoë admits that it can be difficult spending time with her hubby and fellow actor Dan McPherson, who is filming around the globe.
“There’s a lot of airports a lot of travel,” she revealed of their relationship. “[Dan] is really busy, he is going to be shooting in Europe later this year.”
So how do they make it work?
“We are both lucky to be doing what we love and to be with a partner that understands exactly what we’re doing,” she said.
Of course, Australia still holds a special place in their hearts for her Packed to the Rafters character, Mel.
“I do get approached to this day [about Packed to the Rafters], people still stop me in the supermarket,” she revealed.
“It’s really lovely and it shows how much people related to that show and how great that show was.”
