Already distraught, the couple are deeply distressed by Jett’s heated outburst, as
Tori (Penny McNamee) tries to play peacemaker.
Later, Jett makes an emotional confession to Jasmine (Sam Frost) – he feels he not only let Marilyn and John down, but that they will now be forced to look after him for the rest of their lives.
“This is by far the biggest challenge that Jett has ever faced,” says Will. “He’s very angry and in a very dark place, and most of that anger is directed inward. He’s feeling a lot of pain and a lot of guilt. What’s more, it seems that no-one else can understand what he’s going through.”
Jett feels more helpless when, having been encouraged to use a wheelchair by Tori and Jasmine, he crashes into a door frame and injures himself in theprocess. Will Jett somehow find the courage to face his new reality head-on?
