Meanwhile, Georgie Parker - who plays Roo Stewart - wrote: "Beautiful pic of you both. Congratulations."
James put up his own Instagram, sharing the cover of WHO magazine featuring the newly married couple front and centre alongside James's daughter, Scout.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing... Mr and Mrs Stewart!! ✨✨💍", James captioned the pic.
Co-star Penny McNamee commented: "You guys!!! So happy for you all! ❤️❤️❤️"
Clearly still on a high from their nuptials, Sarah left her own loving comment on James' Instagram, writing: "I “actually” love you. HUSBAND.✨"
Speaking to WHO magazine about their wedding, Sarah (who plays Willow Harris on the Channel Seven soap) confessed that planning the wedding was a hectic affair.
“It was hard to put together because of the time difference from Australia to Ireland,” Sarah explained.
“We would go to work [on Home and Away] all day, and then come home and wait for the Irish to wake up so we could call and email.”
Jimmy, 43, shares: “I don’t know how she did it!”
Sarah continued: “It was completely surreal. And I love calling him my husband.”
The couple expressed their excitement about their new life together – one they say “already feels different”.
“It’s a fresh start for us,” Jimmy describes.
And as a brand-new family, a move might be on the cards for Jimmy, Sarah and Scout.
“There’s a couple of plans on the table,” Jimmy says. “We might eventually move somewhere new. Work permitting!”
Sarah and James also revealed that they can't wait to add to their brood.
James admitted when the time comes: "Oh my lord, she’ll be over the moon! And she’ll be a great helper. She’s going to be the best big sister."
