Heather Locklear is reportedly seeking treatment, PEOPLE reports.
The 56-year-old actress was released from police custody following her arrest for allegedly attacking a police officer and an EMT who had responded to a disturbance call at her residence on Sunday night.
A jail official told the publication that Locklear look 'disheveled' as she left the station.
Ventura sheriff’s spokesman Capt. Garo Kuredjian previously told PEOPLE that officers went to Locklear’s home on Sunday after receiving a disturbance call shortly after 11pm.
The actress was allegedly 'extremely intoxicated' and 'arguing with friends and family' when they arrived, according to Kuredjian. As deputies tried to separate her, she reportedly kicked a responding officer.
She also allegedly kicked a paramedic while on a gurney, Kuredjian said.
The news comes as the actress threatened to shoot herself last week.
The Ventura County Fire and Sheriff's Departments responded to the Melrose Place star's home after the report came in last week, TMZ reported.
The outlet said the actress was 'agitated and violent' in the 911 call, as she was threatening to hurt herself.
Although she did not have access to weapons, the dispatch operator said she was 'looking for a gun to shoot herself.'
TMZ reports Locklear was then taken to hospital for a psychological evaluation, where she was eventually cleared.
Capt. Garo Kuredjian of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told PEOPLE at the time, 'At that location we contacted a person who had medical needs, and they were treated by the Ventura County Fire Department, and they were later transported to a local hospital.
'There was no criminal activity. The person was not arrested.'
As previously reported, Locklear was arrested earlier this year after authorities responded to a 911 call about a domestic disturbance.
'Locklear was uncooperative and agitated. She was not only verbally uncooperative but physically abusive to officers,' a LA police spokesperson said at the time. 'She attacked three of our deputies and was arrested. There was also evidence that she had battered her boyfriend.'
A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Locklear was in a medical treatment facility.
That same month, Locklear's home was raided by police after she threatened to 'shoot' officers.
According to the search warrant obtained by Us Weekly via the Ventura County Sheriff's office, the 56-year-old actress 'told deputies she would shoot them if they ever came back to her house again.'
'I don’t know when she got the handgun, but I do know that yes, she did make that statement to the police the night that she was arrested,' Sergeant Eric Buschow from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told Us Weekly at the time. 'Because of the threat and the fact that she had a gun registered to her is the reason that we sought the search warrant.'
'We did not find the weapon and she was not home during the search,' he added.
