Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has created another outrage, after joking that Brazilian muggers should be concentrating on raiding the upcoming Paralympics, rather than targeting able-bodied athletes.
Speaking on his KIIS FM breakfast show, the often offensive star, 45, responded to the string of reported muggings and assaults in Rio, by saying: 'If I was a robber in Rio I'd be waiting for the Paralympics to start.'
Apparently not thinking better of his quip, he added, 'They're a much easier mark than the able bodied ones.'
It's not the first time the celebrity has offended on the subject of disability. In 2015 he claimed to have skipped lines at Disneyland by faking a health issue, before backtracking. He also called a child with a disability a 'spider baby' in 2012, and has in the past disgusted listeners by using the offensive terms 'spastic', 'mong' and 'retard'.
