"The photograph, which was taken by photographer Chris Allerton, features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card this year."
Kensington Palace also released Prince William and Kate Middleton's casual family holiday photo.
The unexpected holiday portrait was taken at their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
