How old are Gwyneth and Brad?
Gwyneth's birthday is 27 September 1972, making her age 46, and Brad was born 1 March 1971, making him age 48.
How did this celebrity husband and wife first meet?
Gwyneth and Brad met back in 2014, on the set of the popular musical-drama series Glee. Brad was a co-creator of the series and Gwyneth was playing the reoccurring character Holly Holliday, her first ever role on a scripted television show. As the relationship developed from a professional one to something more, Gwyneth and Brad were spotted having dinner together in East Borough, L.A. They took a romantic break together on 25 July to Utah, and by August 2014 is was common knowledge that the pair were dating.

You want only what is for the highest good. You always help me see what I can’t. I am so happy you were born @bradfalchuk I love you so much" she wrote.
When did Gwyneth and Brad get engaged?
Gwyneth and Brad got engaged in November 2017, after three years of dating. Multiple media sources confirmed the news in print and online, but it wasn't until January 2018 that the couple themselves confirmed that they were soon to be married on the cover of Goop magazine.
In her letter from the editor, entitled 'Note to Self', Gwyneth told her readers that this issue of Goop was focused on love in all its complex and intimate forms. Gwyneth wrote:
"This issue is about love, the way it sometimes eludes us, can disappoint us, excite us, leave us in tatters or feeling delightfully fed. It is anything but binary. It is mostly gray area, full of subtlety, and sometimes very painful. Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”
Both Brad Falchuk and Gwyneth Paltrow had been married before, so they clearly wanted to be sure they were making the right decision before rushing back down the aisle. Brad had been married to Suzanne Bukinik for ten years prior to their divorce in 2013, and Gwyneth had split from Chris Martin of Coldplay four months prior to meeting Brad. In their joint statement, Brad and Gwyneth acknowledged that they both came to the relationship with a past, but that it was precisely this past would allow them to build a bright future.
"We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives, when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship" the couple said.
The engagement ring

The First Time Round: Gwyneth and Chris
Video: Although separated, Gwyneth and Chris continue to have a healthy relationship and set a great example of how important co-parenting your kids is.
Chris Martin and Gwyneth were married 5 December 2003 in a ceremony at a hotel in Southern California. They had met backstage at a Coldplay concert in October 2002, three weeks after Gwyneth's father Bruce had sadly passed away. When Chris and Gwyneth married, there were no family members in attendance and it was a very low-key affair, so we can understand why Gwyneth wanted to go all out as she wed Brad. Chris and Gwyneth have two children together, a daughter Apple Paltrow who is 15 and son Moses who is 13. After giving birth to Moses in 2006, Gwyneth suffered from postpartum depression but was able to recover after some months.

In March 2014, Gwyneth announced that after ten years of marriage, her and Chris were separating. She famously described the process as 'an unconscious uncoupling', which is the process of sensitively and mindfully detaching from your ex-spouse, as opposed to embarking on a nasty, hate-fuelled divorce. The papers were filed in 2015 and signed in 2016, but Chris and Gwyneth remain on very good terms and continue to co-parent. Gwyneth even posted this picture to her Instagram shortly after becoming engaged to Brad, captioning it 'Sunday Brunch #modernfamily'. When you ex husband and fiancé can calmly have Sunday brunch together, you know you've done something right!
People seem to forget that before Brad Falchuk, there was another Brad in Gwyneth's life. Yep, before there was Brad and Jen, it was Brad Pitt and Gwyn! Brad Pitt and Gwyneth dated from 1994 to 1997, and got engaged when she was 24. Ultimately, they called off the engagement because Gwyneth did not feel ready for marriage, but she maintains that this first high-profile romance taught her lots about the need for privacy in relationships.
Some people get confused and think that Gwyneth is married to Robert Downey Jr. She may be his on-screen romance Pepper Potts in the Iron Man franchise, but Gwyn and Robert are just close friends and co-stars.

Brad Falchuk and Gwyneth Paltrow's Wedding
Brad and Gwyneth may have been in their mid to late forties when they exchanged vows on the 29 September 2018, but throughout the day the looks on their faces were ones of youthful exuberance. Preparing to tie the knot, Gwyneth had reflected on the fact that her first wedding day wasn't been very conventional, explaining that "So even though I’m 45, I sort of feel like a 21-year-old” this time around. The wedding took place in Gwyneth's Amagansett home in the Hamptons, with 70 guests in attendance. Daughter Apple was Gwyneth's bridesmaid, wearing a white strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier. Onlookers included Robert Downey Jr. (who gave a speech) Rob Lowe and famed director Stephen Spielberg. The ceremony actually took place under a marquee on the lawn, beneath a flower-decked arch.
Celebrated Italian-American chef Mario Carbone, created the wedding day menu which consisted of whipped up crab with avocado, followed by scampi tortellini, then a choice of honey mustard duckling or prime rib with whipped potatoes, vegetable succotash and roasted duck fat potatoes on the side. “GP and Brad had their first date at one of Mario Carbone’s restaurants,” Goop explained. “Having him cook for their wedding was a very special, full-circle moment.”
"I am so grateful,” Gywneth told Glamour magazine in the wake of her wedding. “It’s different to be in your mid-forties; do it again and bring all your experience, your pain, your happiness, suffering — everything. It’s actually very heartening, I feel very optimistic!”
Gwyneth Paltrow's Wedding Dress
We got our first look at the dress when Gwyneth began uploading photos to her social media channels and website. The Valentino dress was an exquisites white lace gown embroidered with flowers. How much the dress was valued at it unknown. Gwyneth and Valentino are good friends, with her and her-now husband having holidayed on the designer's yacht in Capri in the past, so it may have been a wedding present. It featured contemporary capped sleeves, a neckline that perfectly showed off Gwyn's boobs without making them the star of the show, and a gorgeous open back. Oh, and did we mention the stunning train?
Gwyneth's makeup was done by her trusted friend Gucci Westman, who used products from both her line Westman Atelier and from Gwyneth's own brand Goop. Posting on her own Instagram account, Westman broke down the wedding day transformation step by step, saying:
"What an honour to help my long time friend Gwyneth Paltrow get ready for her big day. We used Goop skincare to prep skin...she wanted to look like herself, but a bit enhanced, exactly my cup of tea!"
Brad Falchuk is a private man. He doesn't post much of his personal life on his social media channels. But he when he does, it's to write the most wonderful things about his wife. He captioned this photo:
"When was this photo taken? 1940? ‘50? ‘70? Last summer? It’s this timeless beauty’s birthday today. She was born with endless gifts - big blue eyes, a brain and heart overflowing with curiosity, generosity and possibility and those heartbreakingly long legs that go on and on - but she never rests on any of them. Gwyneth, you are the hardest working person I know. From your first cup of coffee in the morning to your last cup of whiskey at night. From the gym to the office to homework at the kitchen table. You give us all of you, all the time. And always with a smile (well, almost always). Maybe that’s why, even though you are the best person ever, you keep getting better every year. Happy birthday, Love"
We're not crying, you're crying! Promise us that you'll stay to together forever you two.
