Gogglebox shock: Wayne and Tom's devastating news
Behind their laughs on screen, popular TV couple Wayne and Tom have been hiding heartbreak.
This year has been rough on the Gogglebox stars with Wayne suffering from multiple life-threatening health issues.
'I’ve had a couple of personal health issues,' he told Foxtel magazine
'I had whooping cough and a heart attack -and I was made redundant from my job. But when one door closes another window always opens.'
Wayne's partner Tom admits he was terrified when his long-time partner was admitted to hospital.
'It was a shock,' Tom said.
'But I can’t believe anything would have happened to him. I never panicked - I knew he was going to be alright.”
Fortunately for the loveable larrikin 'everything is fine now'.
'I rebounded really well and my surgeon said I must have been kissed on the arse by an angel! They managed to catch it quickly and put a stent in, and I was out of hospital basically the next day.'
