Devastating news for Gogglebox fans
Fans of Gogglebox reacted with devastation to the news that some of their favourite stars are quitting the show.
In a post to Instagram on Dec. 7 Angie and Yvie revealed they were leaving the much-loved programme.
“It’s true!” the pair wrote. “After eight amazing seasons and four years of our lives Yvie Jones and I have decided it’s time to switch off our TVs and farewell GoggleboxAU.
“We will always be Goggleboxers at heart and so will our brothers from other mothers Wayne and Tom.
“We love our Gogglebox family family much.
“Yvie and I will be together this weekend and will go live to answer all of your questions! It’s not goodbye, it’s just see ya soon!
“Love you all and thank you so much for the support over the years. Us and our many rescue babies are so grateful for the love.”
Fans of the pair reacted with sadness.
“This is terrible. Love u guys,” wrote one.
“What in the hell is this?” wrote another. “Nooooooooooo”.
