Georgie Gardner has taken to Instagram to share that she has had to have two skin cancers removed from her forehead.
Taking to the social platform to warn her followers, the Today host wrote: 'Feeling a little flat after 2 more skin cancers removed, BUT counting my blessings they’re NOT melanomas.
'Can’t overstate enough to get your skin checked & slap on the sunscreen!!'
Georgie added the hashtag 'Be Smart People.'
The television personalities fans were quick to flock to the post to send their well-wishes.
'All the best for a speedy recovery legend!' one wrote, with another adding, 'Sending lots of love ❤️❤️'
Georgie isn't the only Today host who has had a cancer scare this year!
Earlier in the year, New Idea reported that Karl Stefanovic had to undergo treatment for a 'seriously worrying' skin cancer spot on his right arm.
Sources said that the Today host was accompanied by Jasmine, 33, and her family for the nerve-racking therapy with renowned Gold Coast physician Dr Portia Millar, who closed down her clinic for her famous client.
It's believed the surgery's blinds were closed and the doors locked while Karl, 43, underwent treatment - emerging an hour later with his right arm in a bandage.
Experts say malignant melanoma is a highly aggressive cancer that can be easily spread to other parts of the body – these cancers can be fatal if not found and treated early.
